Starting September 2019
Scarisbrick Arts is delighted to announce the launch of our Royal Academy of Dance classes in September 2019.
As part of our Arts For All programme, children from four upwards will learn dance through the Royal Academy of Dance Syllabus.
These classes are ideal for beginners and advanced dancers alike as they provide a solid foundation for the further study of not just Ballet but all other dance forms.
The RAD offers an internationally recognised portfolio of examinations and assessments which is designed to motivate and encourage students of all ages and abilities.
Students are encouraged to take exams with the RAD if they wish, or can just attend for fun.
Our classes our delivered by our highly qualified dancer teacher Miss Dwyer.
Miss Dwyer’s professional training started on a four year full time vocational programme where she studied many dance forms including ballet, tap, jazz, modern, musical theatre, street dance, hip-hop/commercial, drama and singing. She then went on to obtain registered teacher status upon graduating with the prestigious ‘Royal Academy of Dance’ with a Diploma in Dance Teaching Studies.
